The Pinot Grigio by Livio Felluga represents an excellent example of how refinement and elegance can blend together in a glass of white wine, creating a unique sensory experience. Produced in the renowned region of Friuli-Venezia Giulia, this wine is the result of a meticulous selection of Pinot Grigio grapes grown in the typical clayey and calcareous soils of the area.

Visually, it presents a bright straw-yellow color with greenish reflections, anticipating the freshness and vivacity found on the palate. The olfactory bouquet is complex and intensely aromatic: hints of ripe pear, citrus, and floral notes intertwine with a delicate scent of fresh almond, creating a pleasantly persistent olfactory harmony.

On the palate, the Pinot Grigio di Livio Felluga expresses itself with a strong yet balanced personality. The attack is fresh and soft, evolving into a medium structure that well balances the lively acidity. The fruity and floral notes perceived on the nose reappear on the palate with added mineral nuances that confer a pleasant sensation of cleanliness and freshness to the long finish.

This wine pairs beautifully with seafood dishes, particularly raw seafood and light appetizers, but can also be enjoyed as an aperitif. The aging capacity of Livio Felluga’s Pinot Grigio allows for full enjoyment even several years after the harvest, discovering new nuances and an even more intriguing maturity.

In conclusion, Livio Felluga's Pinot Grigio is much more than just a simple white wine; it is a sensory journey into the Friulian wine tradition, where quality and attention to every detail are reflected in every sip.

The estate is family‑run (children Maurizio, Filippo, Elda and Andrea). The wine 'Illivio' was created by his children in 1998 and dedicated to him for his 85th birthday.
