Régnard's Pommard Rouge is a wine that reflects the tradition and excellence of viticulture in Burgundy, bearing the signature of one of the most esteemed wine houses in the region. Pommard, located in the Côte de Beaune, is renowned for its full-bodied, structured red wines, which strongly express the character of Pinot Noir in one of Burgundy's most celebrated terroirs. Régnard, with its history dating back to the late 19th century, is committed to producing wines that embody the pure essence of their terroir, maintaining high standards of quality and refinement.

Régnard's Pommard Rouge is made exclusively with carefully selected Pinot Noir grapes from the best Pommard vineyards, where the calcareous and clayey soil, combined with an ideal microclimate, favors the optimal maturation of the grapes, giving the wine remarkable depth and complexity . Winemaking is carried out with great attention to preserve the varietal characteristics and the expression of the terroir, through a measured use of wood which enriches the wine without overpowering its natural fruitiness.

Visually, Régnard's Pommard Rouge presents itself with an intense ruby red color, a symbol of its concentration and vigor. On the nose, the wine offers a wide range of aromas: notes of red and black fruits, such as cherries, blackberries and raspberries, mix with nuances of spices, leather and undergrowth, with a light touch of vanilla and toasting due to the elegant aging in barrique.

In the mouth, the wine demonstrates a robust structure, with well-integrated tannins and a balanced acidity that gives freshness and liveliness. The flavors of ripe fruit intertwine with earthy and mineral notes, typical of the Pommard appellation, leading to a long and persistent finish, which leaves a pleasant sensation of elegance and power.

Ideal in combination with rich and structured dishes, such as red meats, game and mature cheeses, Régnard's Pommard Rouge is also a meditation wine, which can be fully appreciated when sipped slowly, allowing you to discover the richness and complexity that only the best wines of Burgundy can offer.

With his Pommard Rouge, Régnard confirms his role as a producer of excellence in Burgundy, offering a wine that is both a tribute to the richness of his terroir and a celebration of the winemaking mastery that characterizes this historic French wine region.
