Pairing Red meats, game, aged cheeses
Ravera Barolo DOCG 2020 di Cagliero presents a classic profile: a light garnet color that reveals good brightness. On the nose it opens with nuances of small red fruits and rose petals, followed by earthy notes and delicate spices; the profile is elegant rather than explosive, with a freshness that makes the overall impression very harmonious. This Barolo shows a balance between structure and lightness, giving the impression of a wine built on the precise coexistence of acidity and sapidity.

On the palate it confirms a sapid tension and well-ordered tannins, not intrusive but present, suggesting potential for development without immediately sacrificing the pleasure of the sip. The finish is persistent, with slightly balsamic echoes. It pairs well with substantial meat dishes, braises and game, as well as aged cheeses and mushroom-based preparations; opening it a few hours earlier or decanting it already enhances its drinkability.
