Ravera Barolo DOCG by Piero Benevelli shows a classic, measured profile: on the nose there are aromas of ripe red fruit and withered rose, accompanied by earthy notes, delicate spicy hints and a touch of undergrowth. The palate displays good tension, supported by fine tannins and a lively acidity that keeps the wine agile despite its structure; a mineral streak helps lengthen its profile. The texture is elegant, with a persistent finish that leaves echoes of sweet spice and a subtle graphite note.

In the mouth you appreciate the balance between freshness and body: the wine manages to show character without becoming heavy, ideal for those seeking a Barolo of good restraint. It pairs with braised meats, mushroom dishes, egg pastas and aged cheeses; serve at around 16-18 °C. It has room for long evolution in bottle, but is already satisfying after a few years and is well suited to convivial occasions where the wine accompanies intense dishes.
