The Ripasso della Valpolicella Superiore DOC by Tommasi, offered in a gift box, presents a balanced and approachable style. On the nose there are aromas of ripe red fruit and cherry, accompanied by spicy nuances and jammy notes that enrich the aromatic profile. On the palate it shows a medium-to-full body, polished tannins and a freshness that supports the sip, with a pleasantly persistent finish. The flavor structure is compact but not overly concentrated, suitable for various occasions without being overpowering.

Well suited as a gift thanks to the box, it pairs easily with cured meats and white or red meats, traditional Venetian dishes and medium- to long-aged cheeses. The balance between freshness and structure makes it suitable for both informal dinners and more important occasions. It is recommended to serve it at around 16–18 °C; a short decanting or opening the bottle a few dozen minutes before service can enhance its aromas. A versatile choice for those seeking a Valpolicella red with a recognizable character, from Tommasi.
