In the glass it shows a warm, enveloping presence, a typical character of a Panamanian rum aged six years. The palate is smooth and full, with good depth that ties together notes of cane sugar, molasses and a spicy hint; the alcohol is present but well integrated, contributing to a sense of controlled warmth and a pleasant persistence. The texture is rounded without being cloying, with a finish that recalls light caramel and hints of dried fruit.

The 1.5‑liter bottle makes it suitable for convivial tables or for those looking for a supply for evenings dedicated to slow tasting: perfect neat or with a few ice cubes to open up its aromas. It pairs with desserts based on dark chocolate, dried fruit or aged cheeses, and also stands up well to mixes that call for a structured but not aggressive rum. Serve at room temperature or slightly cool, in a tumbler or tasting glass that highlights the aromas.
