Pairing White meats, aged cheeses
Ronc dal Gjal Pinot Nero Colli Orientali del Friuli DOC presents a transparent ruby color and a finely sculpted aromatic profile. In the glass, red forest fruits and ripe cherry emerge, with delicate floral nuances and a spicy hint that accompanies without overpowering; the character is more about elegance than power. On the palate it is supported by lively freshness and subtle tannins that define the structure without weighing it down, while a very slight salinity balances the mid-palate and invites another sip. The persistence is moderate and leaves a pleasantly spicy trace.

In pairing it shows great versatility: it accompanies flavorful white meats, mushroom-based dishes, quality cured meats and semi-hard cheeses, but it also stands up well to simpler everyday preparations. Served cool, around 14–16 °C, it maintains its linearity and offers pleasant fruity echoes on the finish. It is a measured-style Pinot Noir, designed for those who seek finesse and drinkability without sacrificing character.
