The Rosso IGT S.Imparato from Montevetrano shows a compact ruby color with slight violet reflections. On the nose it opens with notes of ripe red fruit and herbal hints, accompanied by spicy nuances and delicate toasted notes; the impression is of a balanced, unobtrusive aromatic profile. On the palate it displays medium body, tannins that are present but well integrated, and acidity that supports the structure without being aggressive. The finish is clean and of good persistence, leaving fruity memories and a touch of spice.

It pairs with meat dishes, tomato-based sauces, light game and semi-aged cheeses; a versatile choice for everyday meals as well as informal occasions. Serve at about 16–18 °C, preferably after a short decanting to open the aromas. Store in a cool, dark place; it is also enjoyable when consumed young.
