The "Sette" Toscana IGT Red from Tenuta Setteponti is an exceptional expression of the Tuscan region, known for its rich winemaking tradition. This wine represents a meticulous selection of grapes, predominantly Sangiovese, cultivated in the fertile valleys that characterize the area.

On the nose, the "Sette" Toscana IGT Red opens with intense aromas of ripe red fruit, primarily cherry and plum notes, enhanced by nuances of sweet spices and a slight touch of vanilla, resulting from aging in barriques. The aromatic complexity is perfectly intertwined with mineral and earthy sensations, typical of the grapes grown in this area.

On the palate, the wine displays a robust, well-structured body, supported by mature yet elegant tannins that ensure a pleasingly persistent finish. The balance between acidity and alcohol is commendable, making the "Sette" a harmonious and well-balanced wine, capable of evolving beautifully over time.

The oak aging does not overshadow the varietal characteristics but integrates harmoniously, giving this wine a refinement that pairs well with a wide range of dishes, from red meats to aged cheeses.

Ideal for a special occasion or as a meaningful gift, the "Sette" Toscana IGT Red by Tenuta Setteponti embodies the elegance and depth that only the finest Tuscan wines can offer, promising an unforgettable tasting experience.

Tenuta Sette Ponti – Winery in Toscana

Discover the story and wines of Tenuta Sette Ponti.

Tuscan winery located in Castiglion Fibocchi (Valdarno di Sopra, Arezzo), known for high-quality wines such as Oreno (Bordeaux blend) and Crognolo (Sangiovese-based).
Region: Toscana
Country: Italia
Grapes: Merlot, Cabernet Sauvignon, Petit Verdot, Sangiovese
Oreno: flagship label, first vintage 1999; a blend of Bordeaux grape varieties planted on the estate at the direction of Antonio Moretti Cuseri. Crognolo: first released in 1998, an expression of the estate's Sangiovese. Vigna dell'Impero: a historic vineyard planted in 1935, vinified as a single-varietal and used for a cru of the estate. Vineyards managed under organic farming. Located at Via Sette Ponti 71, 52029 Castiglion Fibocchi.
Winery history
The estate is associated with the Moretti Cuseri family: the modern foundations of its winemaking activity were established in the 20th century with historic vineyards, including the 'Vigna dell’Impero' planted in 1935. In the 1990s the estate began producing its own wines with its first labels, and in recent years management has passed to the family's third generation. The name refers to the via dei sette ponti that links the banks of the Arno between Florence and Arezzo.
Production philosophy
A pursuit of quality and elegance, with a focus on respect for the land and agronomic practices: the vineyards are managed organically, as stated by the estate. The approach combines Tuscan tradition and experimentation.
Terroir and vineyards
Location: Castiglion Fibocchi, Valdarno di Sopra, a hilly area between Florence and Arezzo. The landscape is characterized by historic vineyards, woodlands and watercourses linked to the local history.
