The Chalong Bay High Proof White Rum presents a direct, vibrant character: the high proof provides aromatic intensity without weighing it down, allowing notes of fresh cane, citrus peel and light herbal nuances to come forward. On the palate it is full and assertive, with a warm note that supports the sip and a clean profile that keeps the mid-palate dry; the structure is solid yet agile, able to withstand dilutions and mixing without losing personality. The finish is clear, leaning more toward freshness than sweetness.

It is excellent for mixing: just a drop of water or some ice opens the aromatic profile and softens the heat, making it ideal for classic and creative cocktails where character and precision are required. Neat, it is best served cool but not icy, in a tulip glass or an old fashioned glass; in the kitchen it can support preparations based on fruit or aromatic creams. It’s a rum that enjoys being paired with honest, straightforward ingredients.
