Saffredi from Fattoria Le Pupille is an extraordinarily prestigious red wine from Maremma Toscana, a region famous for its excellent wine products. With its first vintage dating back to 1987, Saffredi has established itself as a benchmark wine, a true expression of this area.

The grapes used in the production of this sumptuous red wine are Cabernet Sauvignon, Merlot, and a small percentage of Petit Verdot, harvested exclusively from vines located in the best parcels of the estate. Thanks to the perfect climatic balance of the area, the grapes ripen optimally, giving the wine remarkable structure and complexity.

On the nose, Saffredi offers a complex and intense bouquet: notes of ripe red fruits mingle with elegant hints of sweet spices and a touch of vanilla, deriving from aging in French oak barriques. On the palate, the wine is powerful, yet soft and velvety, with finely crafted tannins leading to a long and persistent finish.

This wine has received numerous international awards, consolidating its reputation for excellence. Saffredi is ideal to accompany robust dishes such as roasted red meats, game, and aged cheeses, but it is also a perfect option to be enjoyed on its own, as a wine for meditation.

Ultimately, Saffredi from Fattoria Le Pupille is not just a wine, but a true work of art that reflects the passion and careful work of dedicated vintners, in one of Italy’s most prestigious terroirs.
