On the palate it shows freshness and tension, with tannins that are present yet polished, a pleasant sapidity that lends drinkability and a texture that maintains a good balance between body and finesse. The sip is clean and composed, with a persistence that reveals an unassuming but characterful substance. This Barolo is meant to accompany structured dishes without dominating: rich boiled meats, braises, wild game and aged cheeses highlight its fabric; pairing with mushroom- or truffle-based dishes remains a natural choice. Serve at a moderate temperature and, if possible, it would benefit from decanting to allow the aromas to unfold. A bottle that favors elegance and aging potential over immediate impact.
