More questions

The Sancerre Rouge Vendanges Entières by Vincent Pinard is an excellent example of Pinot Noir's ability to adapt wonderfully to the unique terroir of Sancerre. Sourced from meticulously selected vines, this wine is made with entirely hand-harvested grapes, ensuring the integrity of the fruit and superior quality.

Vinification is carried out with great care, using only indigenous yeasts to preserve the authentic expression of the grape variety and the soil. The wine is then aged in French oak barrels, which contribute to a subtle complexity without overpowering the natural fruity character.

With a bright ruby color, the Vendanges Entières offers a seductive nose of cherry, strawberry, and subtle notes of wet earth and spices. On the palate, it demonstrates a medium body, with finely woven tannins and a lively freshness. It concludes with a persistent and aromatic finish, inviting another sip. This wine pairs beautifully with red meats, mushroom-based dishes, and aged cheeses.

A wine that celebrates the elegance of Pinot Noir with a distinctive touch of Sancerre, the Sancerre Rouge Vendanges Entières by Vincent Pinard is a superb choice for connoisseurs seeking something truly special.

The winery

Domaine Vincent Pinard

Valle della Loira (Sancerre)Francia

Sancerre producer based in Bué (Loire), focused on single-vineyard expressions of Sauvignon Blanc and Pinot Noir, with an organic/biodynamic viticultural approach.
Grape varieties
Sauvignon Blanc, Pinot Noir
  • Based in Bué, in the heart of the Sancerre appellation.
  • Vineyards divided into many parcels, with parcel-specific productions.
  • Approximately 17 hectares of vineyard
  • Vineyard practices oriented toward organic/biodynamic methods, without seeking certification.
  • White and red/rosé wines with various vinification methods and aging.
The story
The Pinard family has been rooted in the village of Bué for many generations; the family's modern viticultural activities are documented from the early 20th century. In the postwar period Charles Pinard revived the estate, and later Vincent and his wife Colette expanded it by acquiring relatives' vineyards and consolidating production to its present scale. Today the estate is run by the next generation, which has developed a range of single-vineyard cuvées.
Production philosophy
Priority is given to the vineyard: precise work in the vines to express each terroir, with practices oriented toward organic and biodynamic farming. In the cellar, indigenous yeasts are preferred, intervention is minimal, wood is used sparingly, and sulfites are reduced to highlight the agronomic character of the grapes.
Terroir and vineyards
The domaine is based in Bué, in the Sancerre area of the Loire Valley. The vineyards include parcels on various limestone soils — including outcrops of Kimmeridgian and Oxfordian limestone — and encompass lieux-dits such as Chêne Marchand, Grand Chemarin, Petit Chemarin and Les Créots; the fragmentation into many parcels produces distinctive, site-specific cuvées.
