The Sangiovese di Romagna DOC Pandolfo Superiore BIO from Tenuta Pandolfa offers a straightforward expression of the variety in an organic approach. Medium ruby in color, it opens on the nose with notes of ripe red fruit, cherry and light hints of aromatic herbs and delicate spice. On the palate it shows a balanced structure, lively acidity and present but well-integrated tannins that support a clean, savory finish. The gustatory profile remains fruit-centered, with an overall sense of clarity and freshness without excess.

It is a versatile red, suitable for everyday meals and informal dinners: it pairs with tomato-based dishes, grilled meats, cured meats and medium-aged cheeses. To appreciate its aromatic clarity, serve at a moderate temperature and open the bottle a few minutes in advance; it can also be enjoyed within a few years of bottling, while still leaving room for personal preference. A label that puts the transparency of organic farming and the territorial identity of Sangiovese di Romagna at the forefront.

Winery history
Estate with centuries-old roots (present “more or less since the 1500s”). The estate villa was built between 1731 and 1763; Commander Giuseppe Ricci purchased the property in 1941. In recent years family-led projects (Noelia Ricci, started in the 2010s) have relaunched production with a focus on Sangiovese.
Production philosophy
Approach focused on care for the land, rediscovery of traditional agricultural practices and a move toward more sustainable management (the estate's wines are presented as sustainable/BIO in product sheets).
