Of a ruby red with slight garnet reflections, this Sangiovese di Romagna Riserva expresses a fragrant and direct profile. On the nose there are ripe cherry, small red berries and a herbaceous hint, followed by subtle spicy and tobacco notes that add complexity without dominating. The palate is focused on balance: lively acidity, present but smoothed tannins and a savory texture that supports the fruit; the structure is solid but not heavy, with good aromatic persistence that invites a second sip. The finish returns fruitiness and a slight earthy note that closes the sip with style.

It is a wine of character suited to traditional dishes: rustic ragùs, braised meats and aged cheeses find in this Sangiovese an effective partner. Also excellent with mushroom-based dishes or light game sauces; a short decanting enhances its aromas. Recommended serving temperature around 16-18 °C; it also lends itself to moderate bottle aging to further develop riper notes. A label to consider for those seeking a frank, taut and pleasantly food-friendly sip.

Approximately 22 hectares in total, with 16 hectares under vine. Conversion to organic viticulture completed in 2019. Ownership and management entrusted to the Terre Cevico cooperative group. Renovated facilities for wine tourism: tasting rooms, an estate museum and event spaces. Use of renewable energy sources to support sustainable operations.
Winery history
The property, now part of the Terre Cevico cooperative group, has been relaunched in recent years with investments in the winery, aging rooms and wine tourism facilities. The estate has been restored by renovating historic buildings and converting them into spaces for tastings, a company museum and direct sales, integrating the project into the broader plan to enhance the Romagna region.
Production philosophy
The company's work aims to enhance the territory through attentive agricultural practices: respect for the vine and the soil, a transition to organic viticulture, and a reduction of the energy footprint through renewable solutions and low-impact climate control systems.
Terroir and vineyards
The estate is located on the hilly ridge between Imola and Faenza. The vineyards are situated on the area's clay hills, at altitudes ranging from approximately 50 to 200 metres above sea level, a territory well suited to Sangiovese, Albana and other local grape varieties.
