The Sangiovese di Romagna Superiore 'Il Pertinello' from Tenuta Pertinello presents a frank, measured profile without artifice. On the nose there are ripe red fruits and notes of cherry, plum and light herbal nuances; the aromatic profile remains clean and direct. On the palate it shows lively acidity and balanced tannins, with medium body that supports the fruity flavors and leaves a dry, pleasant finish. It is an honest, transparent wine, suitable for those seeking clear fruit character and a quality everyday drink.

Pairs well with cured meats, first courses with moderate ragù, light white and red meats and medium-aged cheeses. Serve at around 16–18 °C in a large glass to appreciate its freshness and balance. If preferred, it can be enjoyed young for its liveliness or left to rest a few years for more roundness; in both cases normal storage care is required.
