The Sangiovese IGT Lona Bona from Trere shows a lively ruby color that invites tasting. On the nose there are notes of small red fruits such as cherry and raspberry, accompanied by light floral nuances and a subtle herbaceous hint. The olfactory intensity is moderate and clean, without excess, suggesting a straightforward, unpretentious drink. The aromatic profile remains linear, with a thread of spice that does not overpower the fruit, so finesse prevails over power.

On the palate it is fresh and flavorful, with acidity present to balance young, non-aggressive tannins; the structure is slim and suited to everyday drinking. It pairs well with simple daily dishes: tomato-based pasta, white meats, pizza and cured meats, as well as fresh or semi-aged cheeses. The finish is savory and of medium persistence, and its immediacy makes it suitable for informal or convivial meals; serving at a moderate temperature is recommended to appreciate the clarity of the aromas and the overall balance.
