The Sauvignon Bianco IGT from Cantina Roveré della Luna Aichholz is an elegant and refined expression of one of the most appreciated grape varieties in white wine production. Originating from the Trentino region, this wine presents a bright straw yellow color with greenish reflections that suggest its freshness and liveliness.

On the nose, the Sauvignon Bianco IGT offers an intense aromatic bouquet, where notes of tropical fruit such as passion fruit stand out, alongside hints of fresh herbs and a slight floral touch of elderflower. The olfactory complexity is enriched by mineral scents that reflect the terroir of origin.

On the palate, the freshness is immediate, accompanied by good acidity that gives the wine a balanced structure and pleasant persistence. Flavors of citrus and exotic fruit intertwine with a slight vegetal note, typical of Sauvignon, leading to a long and aromatic finish.

Perfect as an aperitif, this Sauvignon Bianco pairs beautifully with light appetizers, fish and seafood dishes, as well as refined vegetable preparations. A true gem for lovers of aromatic and characterful white wines, who seek a wine capable of offering both immediate pleasure and tasting complexity.

Winery history
Founded as a cooperative in 1919, the winery grew from a base of local members and in 1953 moved its headquarters to Roverè della Luna. Today it brings together approximately 300 local winegrowers and represents over a century of activity tied to viticulture at the border between Trentino and South Tyrol.
Production philosophy
The winery combines respect for the land and for its member growers with an approach that blends tradition and innovation: showcasing local varieties by choosing the most suitable site for each grape variety and producing wines that are distinctive of the territory, including Trentodoc sparkling wines made using the Classic Method.
Terroir and vineyards
The vineyards extend over the alluvial cone of Roverè della Luna and across the area between Trentino and South Tyrol, on varied soils at altitudes ranging approximately from 200 to 950 metres. The territory is characterised by the Piana Rotaliana/Valdadige and by pronounced diurnal temperature variations typical of the Dolomites.
