The Sfursat di Valtellina in half bottle format (375ml) DOCG by Casa Vinicola Rainoldi offers the opportunity to enjoy this prestigious wine in a smaller quantity, ideal for intimate occasions or for those who wish to discover the richness and complexity of Sfursat without committing to a whole bottle. Produced with the same care and attention dedicated to the larger formats, this Sfursat represents an excellent example of the winemaking tradition of Valtellina, a mountainous region of Lombardy known for its characterful red wines, obtained mainly from the Nebbiolo grape, locally called Chiavennasca.

The peculiarity of Sfursat ("forced", in Italian) lies in the production method which involves drying the grapes. After harvesting, the grapes are placed in fruit cellars, ventilated environments where they remain for a few months until they lose part of their aqueous content, thus concentrating sugars, aromas and acids. This process gives the wine an extraordinary aromatic intensity and a softer tannic structure, resulting in a wine with great body and long persistence.

Casa Vinicola Rainoldi, founded in 1925, is recognized for its excellence in the production of Sfursat, the result of a profound knowledge of the territory and winemaking techniques that respect tradition. The Sfursat di Valtellina half bottle DOCG is vinified with care, following controlled fermentation and aging in wood which enriches the wine with complexity, balance and unique aromatic nuances.

Visually, the wine presents a deep garnet red color. On the nose, it offers an intense and enveloping bouquet, with notes of ripe red fruits, dried plums, spices and a light hint of chocolate and vanilla, resulting from aging in barrique. In the mouth, Sfursat shows all its power and elegance, with soft and velvety tannins that support a rich structure, leading to a long and satisfying finish, marked by a pleasant aromatic complexity.

Ideal as a meditation wine or paired with rich meat dishes, mature cheeses and mushroom dishes, the Sfursat di Valtellina in DOCG half-bottle format by Casa Vinicola Rainoldi is a perfect choice for those looking for an intense and memorable tasting experience , capable of expressing the profound essence of dried Nebbiolo from Valtellina.
