The "Spumante Brut Metodo Classico Millesimato" from the renowned Illuminati winery is a refined expression of Italian winemaking prowess, capturing the elegance and viticultural tradition of the region. This sparkling wine stands out for its "Classico" production method, also known as the Champenoise method, which involves a secondary fermentation in the bottle, enhancing the complexity and finesse of the bubbles.

Produced with a careful selection of grapes, which are allowed to mature to the perfect balance of acidity and sugars, this vintage sparkling wine reflects the specific year indicated on the label, distinctly chosen for its favorable climatic conditions. The grapes are hand-harvested, gently pressed, and the must ferments in tanks before undergoing bottle fermentation.

Visually, it features an elegant straw-yellow color with bright reflections and an exceptionally fine, persistent mousse. On the nose, it opens with fresh notes of citrus and white-fleshed fruit, combined with light nuances of yeast and toasted bread, a consequence of extended aging on the lees. On the palate, the "Spumante Brut Metodo Classico Millesimato" by Illuminati offers a perfect harmony between acidity and minerality, providing a lasting, elegant freshness, followed by a clean and persistent finish.

This sparkling wine is ideal for celebratory moments or as an aperitif. It pairs wonderfully with delicate appetizers, seafood, and fish dishes, enhancing every flavor with its structure and liveliness.

A true gem to discover, the "Spumante Brut Metodo Classico Millesimato" from Illuminati brings the authentic taste of Italian sparkling wine tradition to the table, perfect for those who appreciate superior quality bubbles.

Winery history
The business traces its origins to the Illuminati family and dates back to 1890, when Nicola Illuminati began winemaking on the border between Marche and Abruzzo. Over the generations ownership and management have remained within the family; in the 1960s Dino Illuminati established the headquarters in Controguerra and expanded the vineyards in the historic area known as Zanna. Today the winery remains a family-run enterprise with multiple generations involved.
Production philosophy
Production focused on quality and a connection to the land: artisanal work in the vineyard and cellar, respect for local agricultural practices, and care of the processes from vine to bottle to express the identity of the Colline Teramane.
Terroir and vineyards
Colline Teramane — a hilly area between the Apennines and the Adriatic Sea, characterized by temperature variations and windiness that promote balanced ripening of the grapes.
