The Spumante Brut Nature 2018 Giuseppe Galliano from Borgo Maragliano represents a refined and pure expression of Piedmontese viticulture. Located in the heart of the region, this winery is known for its dedication to quality and innovation in sparkling wine production. This Brut Nature is produced according to the classic method, with the second fermentation taking place in the bottle, followed by a long period of aging on the lees, which gives the wine complexity and fine effervescence.

The 2018 vintage stands out for its perfect balance and remarkable freshness. On the nose, the wine offers entrancing aromas of fresh fruit such as peach and citrus, with a subtle undertone of white flowers and toasted bread, thanks to the long months of contact with the lees. On the palate, it is lively and refreshing with a surprising aromatic persistence and a clean, dry finish. This is an ideal wine for refined aperitifs or to accompany fish and seafood dishes. With its absence of dosage, the Brut Nature 2018 proves to be an elegant option for lovers of pure and intensely expressive sparkling wines.

Strong focus on the Traditional Method and on vintage sparkling wines. Terraced vineyards in the Langhe of Loazzolo, influenced by the Marin wind. Production of local aromatic wines and experimentation with Chardonnay and Pinot Noir. Family-run estate spanning multiple generations of the Galliano family. Approximately 44 hectares of vineyards, as reported by the producer.
Winery history
Based in the hamlet of Loazzolo, the estate has been linked to the Galliano family, with archival documents cited on the winery's website dating back to 1790 and with land acquisitions in the first half of the 19th century. In the 20th century the family developed Moscato winemaking and, from the 1980s, began experimenting with Chardonnay and Pinot Noir to produce sparkling wines using the Traditional Method.
Production philosophy
Production focused on expressing the terroir and on controlled experimentation: meticulous vineyard care, low, selective yields and extended bottle aging to enhance elegance and longevity, with a strong multi‑generational family commitment.
Terroir and vineyards
The vineyards are located on a natural terrace of the Langhe di Loazzolo, at elevations ranging from about 410 to 580 metres above sea level. The site is influenced by the Marin wind and features tuffaceous, sandy and calcareous soils, conditions considered favourable to Chardonnay, Pinot Nero and Riesling.
