The Studio di Studio IGT 2016, produced by the renowned Cà Rugate winery, is an extraordinary example of Italian viticulture that encapsulates the excellence of Garganega and Trebbiano di Soave grapes cultivated in the fertile valleys of the Veneto region. This white wine stands out for its complexity and refinement, making it an excellent choice for connoisseurs.

On the nose, the Studio di Studio IGT 2016 reveals a delicate yet distinctive aromatic bouquet, with floral notes paired with nuances of ripe white fruit, such as peaches and pears, followed by subtle mineral accents that testify to the richness of its terroir. The influence of barrique is subtly felt, enriching the olfactory profile with elegant touches of vanilla and toasting.

In the mouth, this wine surprises with its freshness and balance. The attack is soft but immediately countered by a lively acidity that leads to a long and pleasantly persistent finish. The structure is well defined, with a medium-full palate that expresses itself in harmony with the aromatic complexity perceived on the nose.

Perfect to be served at a temperature of 10-12°C, the Studio di Studio IGT 2016 pairs beautifully with fish-based dishes, seafood, and white meats. Its versatility also makes it ideal as an aperitif or accompaniment to a variety of starters.

Cà Rugate, a winery with a long history of passion and dedication to wine, confirms with this Studio di Studio IGT 2016 its commitment to offering high-profile wines, appreciated both nationally and internationally.

Winery history
The Tessari family has been cultivating vineyards in the area for over a century; the Ca' Rugate label first appeared on bottles in 1986. In 2001 Michele Tessari, the fourth generation of the family, launched a project to reorganize the estate and expand the vineyards, and the new winery in Montecchia di Crosara was inaugurated in 2002. Over the years the estate has developed wine‑tourism activities and created a wine museum to tell the family's agricultural history.
Production philosophy
Quality that begins in the vineyard is a priority: sustainable management and low-impact practices to enhance native varieties and the expression of the terroir. Since 2004 the estate has adopted more sustainable agronomic methods and demonstrates a commitment to traceability and preserving the local character. Since 2013 it has been part of Indipendenti del Soave.
Terroir and vineyards
The vineyards are situated on the hills of Val d'Alpone and on land well suited to Soave Classico, Valpolicella and Lessini Durello. The soils have a volcanic and calcareous‑basaltic composition typical of the Soave area; some parcels lie on ridges and terraces with steep slopes and average elevations of around 400–450 meters above sea level.
Awards and recognitions
Numerous national and international awards, including several 'Tre Bicchieri' from the Gambero Rosso guide for the winery's wines, and medals/recognitions at international competitions also dedicated to mountain and heroic wines.
