Pairing Appetizers, fish, summer dishes
Light pink with coral reflections and good brightness, this Susumaniello rosé shows a frank and immediate aromatic profile. On the nose come wild strawberries, a fresher cherry and a subtle floral note reminiscent of dog rose; light citrus hints and a touch of Mediterranean herbs add liveliness, while a gentle spiciness rounds out the picture without dominating. The overall impression is of a studied lightness that is not evanescent, with a balance between freshness and body that invites sipping.

On the palate the sip is lean and dynamic: vibrant acidity, modest body and a sapidity that supports drinking and invites a second glass. The texture is smooth, with a discreet softness that harmonizes the fruity tones; the finish is clean and moderately persistent. Excellent with summer appetizers, simple fish dishes, seafood salads and not-too-aged cured meats, it also lends itself to a convivial aperitif or an informal dinner. Serve chilled, around 10–12 °C, to best appreciate its vivacity.
