On the nose, it presents with extraordinary aromatic depth, where notes of dried fruit such as figs and plums emerge, enriched by accents of honey, caramel, and chocolate. The evolution of the aromas also includes nuances of sweet spices, such as cinnamon and clove, which intertwine with a light touch of candied orange.
On the palate, Graham's 40-year-old Tawny is sublimely smooth, with a velvety structure that envelops the palate. The perfect harmony between sweetness and acidity leads to an exceptional balance and an impressive length in the mouth. The same flavors perceived on the nose are confirmed and enriched with new nuances, including touches of nutmeg and vanilla, which blend into a persistently elegant finish.
This 40-year-old Tawny port is more than just a wine; it is a liquid work of art that offers a unique sensory experience. It is ideal for tasting on its own at the end of a meal or accompanied by aged cheeses, chocolate desserts, or dried fruit. Presented in an elegant tube, it also makes a highly classy gift for connoisseurs and lovers of fortified wines.
