Presented in a 70cl bottle housed in an elegant case, it makes an ideal gift for whisky enthusiasts or for those looking to explore new taste horizons. On the nose, the Togouchi Sake Cask offers light and fresh notes of cooked rice and a floral touch that beckons one to discover its flavors. On the palate, it is distinguished by its smoothness and the elegant balance between sweetness and acidity, with a subtle aftertaste of vanilla and dried fruit reminiscent of the delicate scent of sake.
Its finish is clean and refined, with a persistence that allows one to appreciate all the nuances introduced by the former sake barrels. The Togouchi Sake Cask is not simply a whisky, but a gateway to a sensory journey that skillfully intertwines two of Japan's greatest alcoholic traditions. It is best enjoyed neat or with a little water to enhance its complex characteristics.

Distillation
The historic blends do not originate from in-house distillation but from blending and ageing of imported distillates; the more recent single malts are distilled using traditional methods at the Sakurao Distillery.
Ageing
Maturation in casks using characteristic warehouses (including an underground tunnel in Togouchi/Akiota with constant temperature and humidity); use of primary maturation followed by finishes in different cask types.
