The Torrione di Petrolo, presented in an impressive Jeroboam format, is a wine that embodies the richness of Tuscany through its intense varietal and territorial expression. This red wine stands out for its composition, predominantly Sangiovese, complemented by a small percentage of other native varieties, which contribute to creating a rich and complex organoleptic profile.

Sourced from the Valdarno Superiore area, Torrione benefits from meticulously selected grapes from the best plots of the estate. The production philosophy places great emphasis on quality rather than quantity, with minimal intervention in the vineyard and the use of organic practices that respect the environment and enhance the authenticity of the terroir.

Deep ruby in color with violet reflections, this wine opens to the nose with an intensely fruity bouquet where notes of ripe cherry, plum, and delicate nuances of spices and tobacco stand out, resulting from aging in barriques. On the palate, Torrione reveals a well-balanced structure, characterized by silky tannins and vibrant acidity that promise excellent aging potential. The finish is long and persistent, with an echo of red fruit and sweet spices.

Ideal for accompanying robust dishes like roasted meats, game, and aged cheeses, Torrione - Jeroboam is a wine that celebrates the elegance and power of Tuscan Sangiovese, making it a prestigious choice for any wine collection. The Jeroboam format not only increases its aging potential but also makes it an undisputed centerpiece during special occasions and celebrations.

Among its historic vineyards are Bòggina and Vigna Galatrona, the estate’s first Merlot planting, documented as a vineyard from 1990 and forming the basis of the Galatrona label produced since 1994. Over the years the estate has progressively reoriented its production practices and enhanced individual parcels to produce top-quality wines.
