Distillation occurs solely with wine from the finest vineyards of the Bas Armagnac region, specifically selected to maintain an intense and direct aromatic profile. The absence of aging in oak, from which the term "Un Oaked" derives, keeps the original characteristics of the distillate intact, resulting in an extremely clear and very limpid Armagnac, with an alcohol content that enhances the fruity and fresh notes.
To the nose, the Bas Armagnac Un Oaked stands out for its rich and vibrant bouquet, where clear hints of fresh grapes, green apple, and slight floral notes emerge. On the palate, it is marked by a velvety texture and an explosion of flavors that reflect the olfactory range, accompanied by a surprising freshness that culminates in a clean and persistently harmonious finish.
Perfect to be enjoyed at room temperature as a digestif or on a special occasion, this Armagnac also pairs beautifully with not overly sweet desserts or in an elegant cocktail.
Un Oaked Bas Armagnac by Dartigalongue represents the pure and unfiltered expression of the grapes and the terroir of Bas Armagnac, inviting the taster to a unique journey into the world of French spirits.

Distillation
Continuous distillation in a column still at low strength; for some ranges the use of traditional artisanal Armagnac pot stills is mentioned.
Ageing
Ageing in Gascon oak barrels (about 400 L); after 40–50 years the best vintages may be transferred to glass demijohns to preserve their character; numbered single cask and limited editions exist.
