The Verduno Pelaverga DOC from Cascina Massara for Burlotto offers a light, distinctive profile consistent with the area's tradition. In the glass it shows a pale ruby color and a bouquet suggesting small red fruits, delicate spices and a subtle herbal note. On the palate it displays soft tannins and pleasant freshness, with a lean progression that favors balance and drinkability over power. The texture is agile and encourages further sips, with aromatic echoes of fresh cherry, white pepper and a fine floral hint.

It pairs well with simple, rustic dishes: delicate cured meats, pasta with a light ragù, white meats and mushroom-based preparations. Serve at a moderate temperature, slightly chilled relative to room temperature, to highlight its aromatic liveliness. Suited to those seeking an everyday wine with gentle personality, appropriate for informal gatherings or medium-structured meals. Store in a cool, sheltered place if keeping the bottle for a few years is desired.
