Vermentino di Gallura DOCG Branu from the Surrau winery is a white wine that perfectly represents Sardinia. This Vermentino in particular is particularly renowned and enjoys the Gallura DOCG denomination, as it is produced in the province of Sassari. This area is able to produce high quality Vermentino thanks to the granite soil and the warm temperate climate. The vinification of Vermentino Branu takes place in steel tanks. After the fermentation there is a short maturation on noble lees and finally the wine is bottled.
This still white wine has a bright straw yellow color with light green notes. Equally intense is the typically fruity aroma that characterizes it. On the other hand, it is lively and tasty on the palate.
Vermentino Branu is perfect as a simple aperitif or accompanied with fish-based dishes.
