The Vin Santo Trentino DOC by Giovanni Poli S. Massenza represents one of the winemaking excellences of the Trentino-Alto Adige region. This wine, packaged in a 375ml bottle, is known for its meticulous production and distinctive aromatic profile.

Produced following an ancient tradition that involves the drying of the berries, Giovanni Poli’s Vin Santo is primarily made from Nosiola grapes. After harvesting, the clusters are left to dry on racks in well-ventilated areas until the following spring to concentrate sugars and aromas. The fermentation occurs in small wooden barrels, called "caratelli," where the wine ages for several years, gaining complexity and unique characteristics.

With an amber color and golden highlights, the Vin Santo Trentino DOC is distinguished by a bouquet enriched with intense notes of dried fruits such as figs and apricots, with hints of honey and vanilla. On the palate, its texture is richly velvety, featuring a balanced blend of sweetness and freshness. Its organoleptic characteristics make it a meditative wine, ideal for enjoying at the end of a meal.

This wine can be splendidly paired with blue cheeses or desserts made with dried fruits, but it is also perfect to savor on its own, as a moment of pure pleasure. Giovanni Poli S. Massenza's Vin Santo is undoubtedly a prestigious addition for any wine collector or enthusiast wishing to explore the rich winemaking tradition of Trentino.

Winery history
The Poli family has been linked for centuries to the traditions of distillation and viticulture in Santa Massenza: local sources connect the Poli ancestors to the historical presence of stills in the community and to the artisanal practice of grappa. Today the family's operation combines this heritage with local wine production from vineyards in the Valle dei Laghi.
Production philosophy
The estate prioritizes quality over quantity, operating on a small scale with careful attention to the land. The vineyards are cultivated according to sustainability principles, and distillation is still carried out using artisanal methods to preserve the aromas of the pomace.
Terroir and vineyards
Valle dei Laghi is a microzone characterized by the moderating influence of Lake Garda; the vineyards are situated on the hills around the lakes and benefit from a microclimate favorable to the cultivation of Nosiola and other local varieties.
Awards and recognitions
