Boscarelli's Vino Nobile di Montepulciano Riserva DOCG is a jewel of Tuscan viticulture, an example of how the Sangiovese vine, locally known as Prugnolo Gentile, can best express itself in the lands of Montepulciano. This Reserve represents the pinnacle of Boscarelli's production, a winery that, for generations, has dedicated passion and mastery to creating wines that reflect the richness and complexity of their historic terroir.

The Reserve is produced only in the best vintages, starting from a careful selection of the best grapes, coming from the oldest and most valuable vineyards of the cellar. After fermentation, the wine matures for a prolonged period in oak barrels, both large and small, to refine, gain complexity and better integrate the woody notes with the fruit. This long refinement is followed by further maturation in the bottle, which helps to round the wine and enhance its elegance and depth.

Visually, Boscarelli's Vino Nobile di Montepulciano Riserva has an intense ruby red color, which with evolution tends towards garnet shades. On the nose, it opens with a rich and complex bouquet, characterized by notes of ripe red fruits, such as cherries and plums, enriched by nuances of spices, tobacco, leather and a delicate background of vanilla and chocolate, the result of aging in wood.

In the mouth, the Riserva demonstrates extraordinary concentration and structure, supported by fine and well-integrated tannins and a lively acidity that guarantees freshness and length. The flavors are consistent with the nose, with a richness of fruit and spices that blend into a long and persistent finish, a hallmark of the care and quality used in its production.

Ideal in combination with intense and tasty dishes, such as roasted red meats, game, truffle-based dishes and mature cheeses, Boscarelli's Vino Nobile di Montepulciano Riserva DOCG is a wine that celebrates the Tuscan winemaking tradition, offering a tasting experience of very high level, capable of satisfying even the most demanding palates.

Winery history
Poderi Boscarelli is a family-run winery born from the passion of the Corradi/De Ferrari family, who relocated to Valdichiana and established roots in the hamlet of Cervognano. Over generations the family has steadily developed production and introduced selections and distinctive wines, including the Riserva "Il Nocio", and has entrusted current management to members of the De Ferrari Corradi family.
Production philosophy
The estate highlights the diversity of soils and clonal selections, harvesting and vinifying vineyard parcels separately and then assembling them into the final blends. This approach is focused on expressing the terroir of Cervognano, with careful attention to optimal ripeness and grape quality.
Terroir and vineyards
The vineyards are located on the hill of Cervognano, at about 300 m above sea level, on alluvial, sandy, well‑drained soils, with thermal breezes that create a microclimate favorable to quality viticulture. The site faces the Valdichiana.
