Elegant and measured, this VSOP from Grande Champagne presents a refined profile: notes of dried fruit, toasted hazelnut and candied apricot intertwine with hints of vanilla, acacia flowers and a touch of sweet spice. The maturation is perceptible but never intrusive; the wood offers touches of honey and yellow fruit without weighing it down, while a subtle minerality and a citrusy freshness balance the structure, giving a silky persistence.

On the palate it shows roundness and a clean sip, soft tannins and a balance that echoes the same notes from the nose, with fruity returns and a warm, savory finish. Best enjoyed neat in a tulip glass at a moderate temperature (around 16–18 °C), ideal with dark chocolate, small dry pastries or aged cheeses; a few drops of water can open the aromas and broaden the profile. Presented in a gift box, it also lends itself naturally as a gift for those looking for a spirit of character that is approachable and pleasant on the palate.
