The Isle of Skye 12-Year-Old Whisky is a Scottish distillate that reflects the very essence of the region from which it takes its name. This whisky stands out for its ability to balance smoky notes with a subtle sweetness, the result of 12 years of aging in selected barrels. With an alcohol content of 40%, it presents a typical golden amber color, bright and captivating.
On the nose, it is rich in aromas of toasted malt, honey, and light traces of peat, integrated with hints of dried fruits such as apple and pear. On the palate, the taste is enveloping and complex: the flavor of malt blends with notes of caramel, chocolate, and a slight spiciness reminiscent of ginger. The finish is long and persistent, with a lingering aftertaste where peat and wood emerge once again.
