The Whisky Miyagikyo Discovery Aromatic YEAST is a refined Japanese distillate from Nikka, produced in the famous distillery of Sendai, located in the Miyagi region. This single malt embodies the elegance and delicacy typical of the Japanese style, thanks to the careful use of selected yeasts that give a unique aromatic profile rich in floral and fruity nuances. The mountainous territory where the distillate is born, characterized by a cool climate and crystalline waters, contributes to creating an ideal environment for slow and controlled fermentation, which enhances the purity and refinement of the aromas.

On the nose, it opens with fresh notes of white-fleshed fruit, such as apple and pear, accompanied by hints of wildflowers and a delicate herbal touch, while on the palate it surprises with softness and persistence, with a slightly spicy and vanilla aftertaste derived from aging in American and European oak barrels. Perfect both for lovers of sophisticated whiskies and for those wishing to discover new sensory horizons in the world of Japanese malts, it pairs excellently with dishes of mild savoriness, such as sushi, raw fish, or fresh cheeses.
