Savory and well balanced, it shows medium body and a pleasant tannic softness; the persistence is lively and returns to sweet and toasted hints. The finish is clean but not excessively long, with a warm thread that leaves room for citrus echoes. It is best enjoyed neat or with a drop of water to open its more hidden tones, and in a tulip glass to channel the aromas. Ideal for contemplative after-dinner moments, it pairs judiciously with dark chocolate, aged cheeses or roasted white meats, without overpowering them.
