Winery history Agenzia Agricola Metilde (Azienda Agricola Metilde)

The estate was born from a family farming tradition and is named after Metilde, the family's mother. Under the guidance of Mario Sandri, the winery has focused on niche productions and experimentation, particularly the Moscato Passito named "Seren", developed from the late 1990s and established as the winery's flagship product.

Production philosophy

Quality over quantity: artisanal vineyard care, respect for the land and cellar practices aimed at preserving freshness and aromas. Strong emphasis on showcasing the terroir and on aging techniques that favor expression and typicity.

Terroir and vineyards

Situated in the locality of Madonna di Como, on the hills of the Langhe near Alba in Piedmont. The vineyards occupy favourable exposures on the Alba hills, where Dolcetto, Nebbiolo, Moscato and some plantings of Favorita are cultivated.
