The estate is linked to Elisabetta Geppetti, who transformed a family estate in the Maremma into a benchmark for quality wine production. The flagship wine, Saffredi, was born from a project to create a great Maremma wine with the support of leading oenological expertise. The family's work later expanded with new labels also overseen by the next generation.

Seeking to express the Maremma terroir through vineyard practices and winemaking choices that combine Sangiovese with international varieties; with a focus on characterizing individual vineyards and experimenting with less common local varieties to convey the estate's sense of place.

Located in the Tuscan Maremma, in the province of Grosseto, with vineyards and crus overlooking the hills around Scansano and the Tyrrhenian coast.
