Tenuta Sant'Anna offers products rich in flavor and freshness, typical properties of those lands. "Ponca" is the name of the typical element of which the soil of the Colli Orientali del Friuli is composed, a sediment made up of clayey marl with layers of sandstone, of low fertility and good capacity to retain water. A combination that gives the grapes truly unique characteristics, i.e. minerality and tannins, color and body.
After destemming, the grapes undergo a soft pressing, with alcoholic fermentation in stainless steel tanks at a controlled temperature. After the fermentations, the wine is left to rest on the lees for a period of at least 3 months before bottling.
In the glass you can admire its pale straw yellow color, with soft greenish reflections. Pleasant hints of fruity aromas rise to the nose, among which the citrus notes particularly stand out. On the palate the taste is intense while remaining a very slender wine, with a clear citrine note typical of the grape variety.
An extremely versatile wine that lends itself well to being sipped as an aperitif, but perfect with seafood appetizers, sea bass in salt or risotto with asparagus.
