The wine is obtained from an almost equal blend of Schioppettino and Refosco dal Peduncolo Rosso, coming from vineyards located in Prepotto. The approach both in the vineyard and in the cellar aims to preserve the natural expressiveness of the grape, the territory and the vintage. In the vineyard, no herbicides, pesticides or chemical substances are used, while in the cellar we opt for spontaneous alcoholic fermentations, followed, in the case of this red, by a 22-month refinement in barrique.

The wine appears in the glass with a lively and compact ruby color. The nose is varied but defined, with clear references to black pepper, wild herbs, cinchona, chocolate and rhubarb. The rich olfactory bouquet is reflected in a cohesive and pulpy sip, characterized by a velvety tactility. Despite its complexity, the wine is very pleasant to drink, especially when paired with tasty meat-based dishes.
