The grapes were harvested at the optimal moment of ripeness and subsequently dried in the sun for a period of 15 days inside boxes. This drying process contributed on the one hand to increasing the sugar content and, on the other, to developing aromas of jam and honey, giving the wine a notable complexity. After the destemming phase and subsequent delicate pressing, fermentation took place at a controlled temperature between 18 and 20 °C.
For about a year, the refinement process took place in stainless steel tanks in order to maximize the aromatic and qualitative potential of the grapes. Subsequently, the wine was left to mature in the bottle for a period of 12 months.
Kaloro has a brilliant golden color. On the nose, fruity notes of white peach and apricot emerge, followed by sweet sensations of acacia honey. In the mouth, the wine is soft, fresh and has a pleasant minerality. Kaloro is enveloping, characterized by a good balance and excellent aromatic persistence, typical of this variety. This is a dessert wine that can be enjoyed today as well as for years to come.
