The RossoBastardo Umbria IGT Rosso - Magnum from the Cesarini Sartori winery is an enological masterpiece that captures the essence of the Umbria region. This wine is produced from a selection of native grapes, which give the wine an authentic character deeply rooted in the Umbrian territory.

Presented in an impressive Magnum format, which enhances its longevity and complexity, RossoBastardo stands out for its intense and deep red color. On the nose, it offers a rich bouquet with dominant notes of ripe red fruits like cherry and currant, enriched by subtle spicy hints and a touch of vanilla, resulting from refined maturation in barriques.

On the palate, the RossoBastardo Umbria IGT is structured and well-balanced, with a soft yet persistent tannin that accompanies a pleasant acidity. The finish is long and savory, with a persistence that leaves memories of fruit and spices in the mouth, testifying to the quality and craftsmanship of the production.

Ideal for accompanying robust dishes of traditional Umbrian cuisine, such as game or roasts, this wine is also an excellent choice for convivial moments and special celebrations, thanks to its generous format and striking presence.

Store the Magnum of RossoBastardo in a cellar, away from direct light sources and vibrations, to ensure it retains all its organoleptic qualities over time. Serve it at a temperature of about 18°C to fully appreciate its richness and structure.

Winery history
The estate was established through the commitment of the Cesarini Sartori family: Luciano Cesarini, Giuseppe Cesarini and Fiorella Sartori left previous careers in the late 1990s to return to rural life and focus on viticulture in Bastardo. Luciano applied his engineering expertise to the design of a highly automated, precisely controlled winery, intended to manage the winemaking processes with accuracy.

It also develops circular-economy projects and applied research in collaboration with universities and a start-up dedicated to adding value to vine residues.
