The Rosso Conero DOC Passo del Lupo by Tenute San Sisto is born in the Marche hills near Monte Conero, the beating heart of the Ancona territory. It is mainly produced from Montepulciano, an indigenous grape variety that best expresses the rusticity and elegance of the vineyard, on calcareous-clayey soils. The aging takes place partly in wood, giving the wine complexity and structure without losing freshness.

On the nose, it opens with intense scents of ripe red fruits, such as cherry and plum, accompanied by hints of sweet spices and balsamic notes. On the palate, it is vigorous and enveloping, with soft tannins and a refined balance between body and freshness. The persistent finish leaves a pleasant fruity trail, ideal to accompany dishes based on red meats, roasts, and aged cheeses, enhancing the authentic flavors of tradition. An enological experience that tells the unique character of the Conero.
