The Barolo Riserva 7 years DOCG in Jeroboam format from the "Pianpolvere Soprano Bussia" vineyard represents a real treasure for wine lovers, combining the elegance and power of Nebbiolo with the long-aging winemaking tradition that defines the best expressions of Barolo. The Jeroboam format, equivalent to four standard bottles, is particularly appreciated not only for its grandeur and ability to celebrate special occasions, but also for the aging qualities it offers, allowing the wine to develop and mature harmoniously.

The 7-year Reserve indicates a prolonged period of refinement, well beyond the minimum terms required for Barolo DOCG, which allows the wine to reach extraordinary complexity and depth. The "Pianpolvere Soprano" vineyard in the Bussia sub-area is known for producing high-quality Nebbiolo grapes, with a concentration and structure that lend themselves beautifully to long aging, thanks also to the unique microclimate and the composition of the soil rich in calcareous marl.

The winemaking follows traditional Piedmontese methods, with a long maceration of the skins to extract maximum colours, aromas and tannins. This is followed by refinement in large oak barrels, which helps to harmonize the wine, softening the tannins and integrating the complex aromatic notes deriving from both the fruit and the evolution in the bottle.

At sight, the 7-year Barolo Riserva presents the characteristic garnet color of Nebbiolo, tending towards orange with age. On the nose, it offers a wide range of aromas: from the typical ones of ripe red fruit, to more evolved notes of withered flowers, tobacco, leather, spices and a light mineral touch. This complexity is also reflected on the palate, where the power and structure of Nebbiolo are balanced with the elegance and finesse given by prolonged refinement. The tannins, while remaining present, are velvety and well integrated into a rich and complex body, which leads to a long and persistent finish, characterized by a memorable aromatic persistence.

Ideal for special occasions, the Barolo Riserva 7 years in Jeroboam format is a collectible wine, which can be enjoyed now or left to age further to explore its evolution over time. Perfect in combination with intense and structured dishes, such as braised meats, roast meats, truffle-based dishes and aged cheeses, this Barolo offers a tasting experience that celebrates the greatness and longevity of Nebbiolo in one of its best territories.
