Produced in the renowned lands of Montalcino in Tuscany, the Brunello di Montalcino DOCG BIO by Poggio Landi represents the pinnacle of Italian winemaking, both for the quality of the product and the attention to the environment, thanks to its organic certification.

This wine is made exclusively from Sangiovese grapes, meticulously selected and handpicked. The vinification process follows traditional methods, with a long maceration to enhance the complexity of the tannins and an aging period of at least four years, two of which are spent in Slavonian oak barrels, giving the Brunello di Poggio Landi a robust structure and perfect balance.

Visually, the Brunello di Poggio Landi showcases a deep ruby red color with garnet reflections, typical of well-aged wines. On the nose, ripe red fruit aromas are prominent, accompanied by spicy notes of vanilla and licorice, and a subtle balsamic hint inviting you to taste. On the palate, the wine is decidedly enveloping, with a well-integrated tannic texture and a persistent freshness leading to a long and satisfying finish.

Ideal for pairing with robust dishes like roasts, game, and aged cheeses, this Brunello di Montalcino DOCG BIO is also recommended as a meditative wine, to be savored alone to fully appreciate its richness and complexity.

With its natural elegance and respect for the environment, Brunello di Poggio Landi is an excellent choice for wine lovers who do not want to compromise on quality and sustainability.

Region: Toscana
Country: Italia
Grapes: Sangiovese (Sangiovese Grosso)
Approximately 60 hectares of vineyards, part of which is dedicated to Brunello. Wines made from Sangiovese grosso: Brunello di Montalcino, Brunello Riserva, Rosso di Montalcino and the cru "Chiuso del Lupo". Vineyards located between 175 and 550 m above sea level, with varied exposures and soils that ensure a diversity of sensory profiles. Management declared as organic-certified, with an approach designed to respect the terroir. Part of the ABFV project, along with other Tuscan estates.
Winery history
Poggio Landi is a wine project located in the Torrenieri area of Montalcino. The estate is part of the Alejandro Bulgheroni Family Vineyards group, which brings together several Tuscan estates. The property has developed facilities including Villa Belvedere, the winery and a wine shop with a panoramic terrace, combining production with wine tourism hospitality.
Production philosophy
Production aims to enhance the territory and the biodiversity of the different exposures: wines with character that favor Sangiovese grosso, certified organic practices and winemaking techniques focused on expressing the cru.
Terroir and vineyards
Located in the north‑eastern part of the Montalcino area, the estate harvests grapes from vineyards situated at approximately 175 to 550 metres above sea level. Soils are predominantly clayey; the variation in altitude and exposure is one of the factors used to obtain different Sangiovese profiles.
