Cantina Bertani, an old winery that originated in 1857. Let's talk about who, perhaps, even invented Amarone. An elegant bottle that refers to sensations of antiquity, containing a wine already of now never more than 10 years of aging.
A tradition that arises from the Respect of wines to allow them to develop all their qualitative potential in the best possible way. The musts entrusted to slow fermentations, sometimes even more than 50 days, in concrete tanks. A courageous choice, full of risks, supported in the belief that only in this way are high contents in superior alcohols and glycerin obtained, guaranteeing the richness and elegance of the aromas. Refinements, therefore, never less than 7 years in Slavonian oak barrels and another 12 months in bottle.
The emblem of Amarone, a red that in the glass has a garnet color with bright golden reflections, and characterized by extremely complex and seductive scents. A meditation wine characterized by a large and elegant bouquet, which refers to hints of cherry plum and morello cherry, which on the finish leave room for licorice and spices.
On the palate it is portentous, warm and enveloping. You have to taste this wine slowly to savor the fundamentals of its roots that have now become a legend.
Excellent in combination with platters of aged cheese, game, roasts and grilled meat dishes. The elegant wooden case that contains it gives this wine, already precious in itself, that extra touch to make it the perfect gift.
