The Cannonau di Sardegna DOC "Zojosu" produced by the Masone Mannu winery is a red wine that embodies the pure essence of Sardinia through the indigenous grape variety, Cannonau. This wine is a true expression of the region, resulting from expert winemaking that enhances the typicality and authenticity of the selected grapes.

With an intense ruby red color, exhibiting garnet nuances as it ages, the "Zojosu" opens on the nose with a complex and captivating bouquet. Aromas of ripe fruits like plum and cherry blend with spicy notes and subtle hints of tobacco and leather, derived from a slight aging in barriques. This refining stage lends the wine an elegant and enveloping structure, without overwhelming the fruit.

On the palate, Masone Mannu’s "Zojosu" is vigorous and rich, with an excellent concentration of red fruit and a well-balanced tannicity promising an excellent aging potential. The acidity is lively but well-integrated, leading to a long and persistent finish that leaves a pleasant sensation of warmth and richness, typical of excellent Cannonau wines.

Ideal as a pairing for hearty dishes such as roasts, game, and aged cheeses, this wine is also perfect to be savored on its own for contemplation, to appreciate all its nuances.

Producing the "Zojosu" is Masone Mannu's tribute to the Sardinian winemaking tradition, offering a wine that stands out for its character and authenticity, capable of narrating the unique story and climate of Sardinia with each sip.
