Villabella is a famous winery in the Veneto region, Amarone comes from a blend of native grapes of Corvina, Rondinella and Corvinone. The harvest takes place towards the end of September; the berries, after having left them withered for 4 months, are gently pressed. Fermentation takes place at a controlled temperature, in contact with the skins for about 20 days and aging in Slavonian oak barrels for 32 months.
It has an intense red color with garnet reflections. The olfactory profile includes aromas of ripe fruit and jam, accompanied by spicy hints and a slight note of cocoa. The sip is typically dry and full-bodied, excellently balanced by perfectly integrated tannins.
An extremely pleasant red wine, excellent to combine with roasted red meats and game, perfect with aged cheeses.
