Cachaca is a distillate much appreciated in Brazil that comes from the distillation of pure raw sugar cane juice, without the addition of fermented molasses, as often happens for most rums. The juice is expertly boiled and fermented, once distilled the final brandy is obtained which is then aged for at least 2 years in tropical wood barrels. It is precisely during the aging phase that Cachaca will develop that extraordinary softness and its inimitable exotic flavour.
It appears to be transparent and crystalline. The olfactory profile denotes an intense aroma of tropical fruit. In the mouth, the sip is enveloping and decisive, with a sweet tip and a well-integrated alcoholic note, long persistence of cotton candy and caramel.
Excellent to consume smooth, it also proves to be a perfect distillate to be mixed in the preparation of cocktails including, for example, the Caipirinha.
