The Friulano vineyard, a vine grown in Friuli for centuries, is located at an altitude of 150 m a.s.l., facing East South-East, on hilly terrain made up of marl and sandstone of Eocene origin. The vinification is in white, therefore it provides for a soft pressing and fermentation in steel at a controlled temperature of 16°C. Refines in steel with a stop for a period of 7 months on the fine lees, and at least 3 months in the bottle before being put on the market.
When poured, it has a lively and brilliant straw yellow colour. It conquers the sense of smell with its broad and rich bouquet of acacia flowers and white peach, followed by aromas of marjoram and dried fruit. It enters the palate with a dry taste, with a good structure but soft, with a strong, sapid and lively character. Depending on the vintage, an intense and typical almond finish can be found.
A very versatile wine, it is recommended to combine it with savory pies and filled pasta, as well as dishes based on baked fish and semi-fat cheeses.
