Barricaded Beer - Born from the "Trip in Barrique" project which sees the use of oak barrels that have housed the best Calabrian wines, and in which the beer is now barricaded; thus mixing the inspiration of the master brewers and the fragrance of the barrels.
We are faced with a Black Artisan beer with a decidedly dark color, with a unique complexity. The nose has complex notes between coffee, bitter cocoa, candied orange and roasted chestnut. With an engaging sip that only at the end makes it clear that it is a beer.
It is definitely a beer not suitable for quenching thirst, and for daily drinking, but its great complexity must be understood and understood, being perhaps more a meditation beer or in combination with fatty dishes. In fact, it might not appeal to everyone given its complexity and notes of chocolate and coffee, but it certainly deserves a taste at least once.
This beer is made with mixed fermentation with lactic bacteria and then aged in French oak barrels used to age fine Calabrian wines.
A beer that demands dishes at its height, structured, fatty foods and with good succulence both induced by the dish and by chewing. Game in all its forms, red meat, highly prized cheeses.
